Founded in 2023, Operation: Talk 2 Me Johnny is a non-profit organization that works to bring awareness and support to the mental health battle faced by our veterans and first responders.

November 22, 2021 changed our lives forever when we lost Sgt. John R. Little, CD to suicide. John was a father to four boys, a son, a brother, a fiancé and a friend.

Establishing if they have a plan and the means to execute the plan is first and foremost. If they do it is always advised that they seek immediate help through a dr or emergency room. You can call 9-1-1 if you truly feel the requirement is there.

If they have a safety plan in place you can help them exercise that. What is a safety plan? It is a plan made ahead of time to help someone in crisis connect with their medical care team and pre planned resources.

If not you can also tell them about 9-8-8. A FREE call or text service that will also acres their risk and requirement and provide the needed resources available. This service is available across Canada and the U.S!

Day 12 and repping John’s Bushwookie T shirt! After not feeling great all day today with a cold that is causing havoc on my respiratory system I decided to modify how I showed up. I shortened the length a little so that I could still see get a plank done for #bridgethegap but I didn’t push myself any further.

Day 4 in the books! Planks are getting longer and feeling a bit stronger already!

Changes … oh man do I hate those! Got to see mom and dad’s new place and help them move stuff around and start to unpack. Was weird being in a new place after 35 years at the farm, but the time is right, the choice a good one and everyone is excited for the next chapter … doesn’t mean it wasn’t tough. Together we continue to talk about the good times, grow from the hard times and remind each other they are #neveralone and we are #strongertogether
