Founded in 2023, Operation: Talk 2 Me Johnny is a non-profit organization that works to bring awareness and support to the mental health battle faced by our veterans and first responders.

Get to Know Us

November 22, 2021 changed our lives forever when we lost Sgt. John R. Little, CD to suicide. John was a father to four boys, a son, a brother, a fiancé and a friend.

This week we did a thing … Mental Health First Aid (Veteran Community) certified !

The course was triggering at times and deeply personal to me, but also very informative and gave me greater confidence!

Just over 2 months until the T2MJ Memorial Day supporting @veteransandeverydayheroes and @3oakscabin

A family friendly event from noon to 4pm featuring some animals for the kids to hang with, games and events for kids, vendors and entertainment. The afternoon wraps up with our Overcoming the Obstacles challenge which will consist of teams of 4 working relay style to get through an obstacle course based on fitness requirements veterans and first responders. Only 1 team will win, but no one will be left behind!

Sign up today to participate in this great obstacle course or bring the kids out for a fun filled afternoon and stay to cheer on those who work to Overcome the Obstacles!

Those who know me, know that I believe in signs from the universe. I was much more skeptical before John died, but since he passed, I’m positive he sends me little messages. So it wasn’t surprising when today on #bellletstalk day this song came on. I haven’t listened to this song in a while, and after a long day of travelling and meetings I was exhausted and pleased to be listening to a “chill mix” courtesy of my Spotify DJ (anyone else live this function?!?!) … since he passed, I’ve struggled, something I’ve been open about, but 2024 in particular was very hard mentally for me. So I know John was sending me a little reminder that to bring him back I only have to think of him. I also know he was telling me that he is right beside me through my journey and reminding me to keep pushing through!

Not all days are easy, not all days are happy, but they are all worth fighting for and so are you!

I needed this reminder today. I’ve been feeling like it’s getting harder or maybe just as hard as it was 3 years ago when we got the call. But this reminded me that it doesn’t go away, it doesn’t become any less heavy … it becomes different as I become stronger.

We worked with Atlas Institute for Veterans and Families on their veterans week video project this year. The concept is a very touching one and the end project is so beautiful. We wanted to do something special for our friends @thefreedomranch for their inaugural #stompthebruce so we donated Johnny’s Harley to the cause. We received an offer to buy it at the event and were able to raise $8,000 for The Freedom Ranch!! We know the bike is going to a good home and John would be thrilled that something he loves so much was able to help out such an amazing cause!

264 pushups over 12 hours … 27 months without Johnny. Sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago, sometimes it feels like yesterday … everyday hurts! I grieve for him, I grieve for the loss that my parents have to endure, I grieve for the future milestones he will never see his kids achieve and I grieve for me, the person I used to be and will never be again because the loss of John has impacted me so much it would be impossible not to have changed.

18 in 2021 and many others since then … it’s too many. Thank you from the bottom of my very broken heart to all who participated today. I’ll never talk to John again, I’ll never hear his laugh or watch him with his sons … but for someone else’s brother or sister you all made an impact, you all helped to show you care and you all helped someone stay in the fight!
